The Bella Vista 9-Hole Women's Golf Association was organized in 1977 to foster friendship, fun and better golf among the members. We welcome all levels of golfer and are always looking to make new, long-lasting friendships.
The "9-Holers" have members that are new to golf, new to Bella Vista and others who enjoy just playing 9. We play from both the red and gold tee boxes. You can choose the tee that suits your game, not your age or handicap. You will be assigned a "Big Sister" who will help guide your entry into the group.

We play 9 holes each Monday from April -October, playing on one of the Bella Vista courses. Starting times vary depending on the time of year and are usually early in the day. We have about 75 members with around 50 ladies playing each week.
Opening and closing season brunches are held each year. In addition, we host a Member-Guest Fun Day near the end of August that is played as a shotgun on the Country Club Course. This is a chance to play with other friends and encourage them to join the group.
On most weeks, you will play your own ball and contribute to a team game. Players are divided into flights based on handicap so you will be playing with others who have a similar game. Some weeks we play Low Gross/Low Net that is based on your handicap. The ball "up" all year so you can adjust your lie by 6"-the width of the scorecard. Be sure to practice your short putts, because you will need to putt the ball all the way to the hole (no gimmies).
Our annual dues are : $30 for Membership, $30.00 for the GIHN Handicap Fee and an optional $2 for the Hole-in-One Club. Prizes are gift certificates to the POA Pro Shops and from our sponsors.
