ABOUT US

The Bella Vista 9-Hole Women's Golf Association was organized in 1977 to foster friendship, fun and better golf among the members. We welcome all levels of golfer and are always looking to make new, long-lasting friendships. New golfers are welcome.  A "Big Sister" is assigned to help guide your entry into the group.

Play from the red or gold tees. We play 9 holes Monday mornning from April -October on the Bella Vista Courses.  We have about 75 members with around 45 ladies playing each week.

Annual dues are : $30 for Membership, $30.00 for the GIHN Handicap Fee and an optional $2 for the Hole-in-One Club. Prizes are gift certificates to the POA Pro Shops and from our sponsors.

We play individual and team games.  Most weeks you will play your own ball. Players are divided into flights and handicaps are used so everyone has a chance to win.  Some rules have been 'relaxed' for a fun experience.  You must putt the ball into the hole, no "gimmies", so practice those short putts.

We have several special events including Opening and Closing Brunches, Bring a Friend Day in June and we host a Member-Guest Fun Day near the end of August.  These days are a fun way to play with other friends and encourage them to join the group.
